Salish Arts and Music (SAM) exists to uplift original music and performing arts throughout the Central Salish Sea region. From intimate concerts and community collaborations to genre-bending performances, our events are curated with care to reflect the depth, diversity, and creativity of our region’s artists.
We believe that music and the arts are essential to the health of our island communities—not luxuries, but vital threads in the fabric of connection, culture, and belonging.
At SAM, we don’t just present the arts—we actively support them. Through innovative funding models, reduced financial barriers, and audience-powered donations, we ensure that performers are fairly compensated and that events remain accessible to all, regardless of income.
